David Greco,
Baritone

David Greco, the SSSO's soloist on June 25th, 2006, has worked with many of Australia's finest musical ensembles
A graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, he is a member of Cantillation and Pinchgut Opera and has appeared in their productions of Purcella's The Fairy Queen, Monteverdi's L' Orfeo and most recently in Rameau's dramatic masterpiece Dardanus.

David has recorded exclusively with the ABC classics label, and is featured on many of their recordings and live radio broadcasts. In 2003 he made his operatic debut in the role of Papageno in Mozart's The Magic Flute with Pacific Opera, shortly after being involved with the Sydney Conservatorium's production of The Marriage of Figaro.
David has appeared as soloist with the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, the Sydney Phillharmonia Choir and the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra. He has just toured with highly acclaimed early music artist Emma Kirkby as a soloist and chorister on her recent Musica Viva concerts in Australia with Cantillation.
Upcoming engagements include tours with the Song Company and Musica Viva.

He has just been accepted into the highly competitive Opera School at the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester, UK.
